Chapter One
From the opening pages
I want to be honest with you before we go any further, the same way I was honest at the start of the book about losing a spouse: I haven’t turned seventy myself. I wrote Nobody Tells You This at Sixty from the inside of that particular decade, as it was actually happening to me. This one is different — written a little ahead of where I actually am, from watching men further along this road than I currently am, and from genuine curiosity about what’s still coming.
